Who we are

Walnut Pond Ranch was acquired in 2022 by Shawn and John Lagemann.  They spent the next three years developing the land and the vision for the Agricultural Discovery Center.  Both having grown up in agriculture, felt blessed to be stewards of the land and to pass on the passions they have about agriculture, while assisting in the development of interest for agriculture for all our futures; for those who may help with food production to solve the crisis of food insecurity and nutrition, here and around the globe.

“Walnut Pond exists for education and demonstration, for the community and the individual, to promote production, conservation, and sustainability of the land and its bounty.”
— Shawn Lagemann
